Hundseth Power Line Construction is proud to announce that we have been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.

Canada’s Best Managed Companies is one of the country’s most respected business awards programs, recognizing Canadian companies that demonstrate excellence in leadership, strategy, culture, innovation, operational performance, and sustained growth.

This recognition reflects the dedication of our employees, the strength of our culture, and the trust our customers and partners continue to place in us every day.

For 50 years, Hundseth has built its reputation on safety, quality, integrity, and strong relationships. From powering communities across the prairies to supporting critical infrastructure projects, our team remains committed to delivering reliable service while continuing to grow and evolve as an organization.

Receiving this recognition highlights:

  • Strong leadership and long-term vision.
  • A people-first culture focused on teamwork and accountability.
  • A commitment to safety and operational excellence.
  • The ability to adapt, grow, and innovate within our industry.
  • The trust and partnerships built with our customers, employees, and communities.

This achievement would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our employees and the continued support of our customers, partners, and communities.

As we celebrate this milestone, we remain focused on continuing to build a strong future while staying true to the values that have guided Hundseth for the past 50 years.

We are deeply honoured to receive this recognition and grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey.

Supporting Community Through Partnership and Volunteerism

May 8, 2026

At Hundseth Power Line Construction (HPL), we believe strong communities are built through collaboration, commitment, and giving back.

On May 8, 2026, HPL was proud to support volunteers at Serbu Park in White City, Saskatchewan by assisting with the installation of new netting for the community’s batting cages. This exciting project was made possible through the collective efforts of local volunteers, generous donations, and community partners who came together with a shared vision of creating a high-quality facility for local athletes and families.

The new batting cages are a testament to what can be accomplished when a community works together toward a common goal. HPL was honoured to contribute equipment, resources, and support to help bring this outstanding recreational asset to life.

We extend our congratulations and appreciation to everyone involved in making this project a success. Investments in community recreation create lasting opportunities for youth development, healthy lifestyles, and community connection; values that align closely with HPL’s commitment to supporting the communities where we live and work.

At HPL, we are proud to play a role in projects that strengthen our communities and help build a brighter future for the next generation.

Developing the Next Generation of Power Line Technicians

May 26, 2026

At Hundseth Power Line Construction (HPL), investing in the future of our industry is a commitment we proudly uphold every year.

Each May, HPL partners with the Regina District Industry Education Council (RDIEC) to host a hands-on career exploration event designed to introduce high school students to the rewarding career opportunities available within the power line trade. Through interactive demonstrations, industry discussions, and real-world experiences, students gain valuable insight into the skills, responsibilities, and opportunities that come with a career in the utility sector.

This year’s event welcomed students from Prairie Valley School Division, Regina Public Schools, and Regina Catholic Schools for a day of learning, engagement, and discovery. Participants had the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, learn about safety practices, explore specialized equipment, and gain a firsthand understanding of what it takes to become a Power Line Technician.

As Saskatchewan’s leading power line contractor, HPL continues to set the bar for workforce development and industry leadership. We recognize that today’s students are tomorrow’s skilled trades professionals, and we are proud to play a role in inspiring and developing the next generation of talent.
