Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, and based out of our Saskatoon Head office, we are currently seeking an organized and dynamic multi-tasker, who will join our Finance team as an accounting clerk.

This detail-oriented role provides all levels of accounts receivable and payable support, which includes accurate data entry and assisting with invoicing and billing, tracking and applying payments received, and entering payments into SAP Business One.

Proven office experience in accounting & finance, including major accounting software such as SAP Business One, Fieldglass, Quickbooks, or Sage Intacct, is preferred.

Skills & Requirements

  • Must be a permanent resident of Canada.
  • Must provide a Criminal record check if employment is accepted.
  • Must be available 8:30AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Post-Secondary education in a related discipline, Certification, or degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office – primarily Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Internet Explorer, iCloud, MS Office365, SAP Business One, Fieldglass as well as proficiency in most office software platforms, is preferred.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for all data entry.
  • Team-based attitude and positive engagement with all divisions of HPL.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
  • Proficient in planning and ability to handle frequent interruptions.
