We are currently seeking a 1A equipment operator for our Telecommunications crew. Travel will be required as our services extend beyond Saskatoon to north of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Job Description:
- Loading and delivering materials to job sites.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools and equipment including; back hoe, trencher, skid steer, directional bore, ploughCAT.
- Basic equipment maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to foreman.
- Perform ground work, including digging trenches and site clearance.
- Cleaning and preparing a job site.
- Set up markers, cones and barricades and flag vehicles to control the traffic flow
Overnight travel may be required for the position on occasion.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A valid 1A drivers license is mandatory.
- Previous experience operating the following: backhoe, track hoe, trencher, directional bore, etc. would be an asset.
- One or more years of experience in safely and effectively tying down equipment.
- Ability to travel out of town during the week or on weekends as required.
- Ability to lift heavy tools and equipment.
- Strong situational awareness especially when operating trucks and heavy-duty equipment.
- Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
- This position is considered a safety sensitive position; all new hires will be required to complete a pre-access drug and alcohol screening.
