1A Equipment Operator – Regina

We are currently seeking a 1A driver/equipment operator for our Regina operations.  Travel will be required as our services extend within Saskatchewan.

Job Description: This role will be responsible for preparing, organizing, loading, delivering, and unloading equipment and material. Equipment operated and moved may include trucks of various sizes, backhoe, track hoe, directional drill and hydrovac.  Overnight travel may be required at times.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Previous experience operating the following: backhoe, track hoe, directional drill, and hydrovac, etc is preferred.
  • A valid Saskatchewan 1A drivers license is mandatory.
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Travel to construction site locations will be required.
  • Can easily tie-down equipment on decks.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of experience in construction.
  • Ability to travel out of town during the week or on weekends as required.
  • Ability to lift heavy tools and equipment.
  • Complete all required documentation properly and efficiently.
  • Strong situational awareness especially when operating trucks and heavy-duty equipment.
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • This position is considered a safety sensitive position; all new hires will be required to complete a pre-employment medical evaluation that includes  drug and alcohol screening.
