We are currently seeking a Parts Person.  This position will be based out of our Saskatoon shop and equipment yards.

The successful candidate is responsible for ensuring that all parts orders and requests are accurately sourced, ordered, and received, in as timely and efficient manner as possible.  The parts person will be a motivated, self starter who will also actively assist other team members in our fast paced mechanic shop and equipment yard.  Reliable and accountable, the timely servicing of our fleet depends on your ability to put the team first!

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ship and receive inventory, tools, and parts and process returns.
  • Purchase approved parts.
  • Research, measure, or use manufacturers specs and order required parts using Tatmes program.
  • Maintain inventory levels within budget-approved parameters.
  • Inventory management.
  • Loading and unloading trucks and deliveries.
  • Stocking shelves, and keeping all areas of parts room functional and organized.
  • Follow checklists to ensure thorough examination of all requested parts and systems.
  • Accountability and follow-up to manage expectations of shop.
  • Other responsibilities based on priority of shop work.


  • Must hold a valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver abstract (class 1A is preferred).
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Parts knowledge and ordering experience of various makes and models for:  heavy equipment parts, heavy duty truck and transport equipment, and automotive.
  • Experience with parts management, and ease with software programs.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Physical strength and stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
